TURFGRASS

The following varieties are Blue Tag Certified by the Tennessee Crop Improvement Association. TCIA inspects every square foot of grass at each producer's farm three times a year to ensure genetic identity. If it fails due to excessive off-types, they are not allowed to sale as certified until the off-types are eliminated. This is done so that if you buy Tifway 419 at one certified location, you have proof that is the same quality and variety grass as another certified producer location. Be sure to ask for the Blue Tag Certificate when you purchase certified grass.
